The goal with this project was to learn about three different techniques: blending, scumbling, and feathering. I used oil pastel for all three of the spheres. The elements and principles that were applied were: form, value, texture, and contrast.
The goal with this project was the same with the skull, just applied to a different object. The elements and principles used were value and form.
The elements and principles focused on with this project were value and contrast. I used charcoal with grey toned paper to complete this project.
The goal with this was to create a still life based off of fake flowers. I focused on each shape of the flower and the leaves, and then added value. I also payed attention to the empty spaces between the leaves and added darker shadows there. The elements and principles used were value and contrast.
The goal with the texture was to focus on the gradual value it has, and to pay attention to the folds of the fabric. The elements and principles used were value and contrast.
To me, this was the most challenging of the textures so far. The shading was challenging as I had to focus on the organic shapes the reflected light created, as well as the different contrasting values there was. In the end, I'm satisfied with the outcome for my first time drawing glass. The elements and principles used were value and contrast.
